Ivy helps to grow knowledge and determine best practices to extend shelf-life of current and future produce. Previously, Ivy served as a laboratory manager at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University where she evaluated metabolic reactions to phenolic compounds, nutritional composition of value-added products and the storage stability of processed items. Ivy has a B.S. and M.S. in Food and Nutritional Sciences from NC A&T SU.
